Essentials

Soldering iron

If you don’t have your soldering iron, and you’re heading to get one, I would highly recommend you to buy a t12-952. It’s cheap, but powerful.

And you might buy iron tips. I recommend T12-KU(for removing lightning port), and T12-BC1(assembling pcb and soldering wires)

PCB Holder

For sure, you will need holder to grab pcb or flex cable. These are what I recommend.

• Mijing K23Pro. It’s made for board repair and quite expensive. But perfect at removing lightning port on flex cable.

• Capton tape. Actually it’s not made for hold something but it just works great.

• But never buy these. It sucks on microsoldering.

Solder

Buy any kester Leaded Solder. Or anything you want but not so cheap.
